When I first had the idea that I would like to have an internet marketing business, I was at a loss as to where to start.

Life can lead you in directions you never thought possible. I sure never thought in a million years I would be building a website and making money from home too. My home based business was continuing to grow.

How I started my Internet Marketing Business

My friend, Sandra, bless her, kept telling me that I could build a website and make money from home. I didn't believe her. I said "you are talented enough to do that, but I'm not".

However, in June 2009 I decided to seriously look at the idea of making a website and even thought of a topic of great interest to me...Candida! I finally decided to listen and I got started with SBI (Site Build It).

I am not a computer whiz. However, I am becoming more and more skilled with my computer and through all the information that SBI provides I am building this website. You don't have to be a computer whiz either.

Being retired doesn't mean that I have to be bored with life.Since starting my website, it has changed my motivation on a daily basis. My friends have even noticed my change of focus and my new energy. I can still learn. I can make money from home.

I like working from home, especially during the winter months. I don't enjoy driving on winter roads anymore, so working from home make my 'job' easy. I am impressing myself daily. I am thrilled when someone reads my website and contacts me with a question and I am able to help them.

I am really enjoying building my internet marketing business website. I do it at my own speed. Some days, I spend three and four hours at a time writing articles. Then the next day, maybe only check my web mail.

Oh did I mention that you can put a 'contact me' form up and receive mail from your readers? This is helping my internet marketing business continue to grow.

After listening to and reading the Action Guide, my internet marketing business was on its way.

Working from Home

I know I have already mentioned this, but I have to say it again. I really am enjoying running my internet marketing business from home! Being a retired person, I didn't know what to do with myself. Now, I have a focused plan for (nearly) every day. My brain seems to be working more clearly again. I'm not sure how to explain that, but it is absolutely amazing and a wonderful feeling.
